Prof. Dr. Ferit TURANLI, Prof. Dr. Pervin KINAY TEKSÜR, Res. Asst. Nihan GÜNEŞ, and Res. Asst. Utku ŞANVER, members of our department's academic staff, attended the 2nd International Molecular Plant Protection Congress held at HEKTAŞ Agricultural Innovation, Education, and Experience Center in Bursa, Turkey, between May 15th and 18th, 2023.

 

Prof. Dr. Pervin KINAY TEKSÜR delivered the opening speech at the congress on behalf of plant protection associations and also served as a session chair.

 

Res. Asst. Nihan GÜNEŞ participated in the congress with a poster presentation titled "Molecular characterization of Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) and Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) affecting tomato and pepper crops in Izmir Province," while Res. Asst. Utku ŞANVER attended the congress with a poster presentation titled "Molecular analysis of copper tolerance and genetic diversity in Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae, the causal agent of cherry bacterial canker disease."
